ABOUT

Celebrating Castle View High Schools 17th year in existence, Coach Alexis Godfrey will take on her fifth year as Head Varsity Poms Coach and Program Director. The CVHS Poms Team was reestablished in December 2018 and since then has aided in the development and the setting of standards in our school's spirit and pride. As one poms family we take great pride in our program and continue to look forward to always "leaving a legacy".

COACH ALEXIS GODFREY

Head Coach/Program Director

Alexis is a Southern California native who did most of her extensive training in Huntington Beach, focusing on: jazz, lyrical, ballet, technique, hip – hop and pom. Growing up she was apart of her high school's cheer team, pom squad and dance team. After high school, Alexis accepted a scholarship to dance on the Boise State University Mane Line Dance Team. During her time in Idaho, Alexis coached a state ranking team for three years and choreographed for numerous schools and studios.

         Now a four-year alumni member from Mane Line, Alexis holds a degree in Communication with a minor in American Sign Language and a certificate in conflict management. Currently, Alexis is a competitive dance coach at PEAK Athletics, Performance Company Director at E&E Dance Company, Emcee and Judge for MOVE Dance Competition and owns her own choreography agency, Alexis Godfrey Choreography.

         Currently residing in Parker, Colorado with her husband Sam and son MacGyver, Coach Alexis loves being able to pursue her passions as a career. Her goal each year as Head Coach is to encourage every young dancer that comes through the program to graduate as a strong, confident leader and effective member of society. Alexis is thankful and appreciative of every one of her dancers and is so humbled and excited to be leading the Castle View Poms Program!

COACH VICTORIA HERNANDEZ

Junior Varsity

Victoria was born in Modesto, California and has been raised in Littleton, Colorado. Her passion for dancing started very young and she has been pursuing dance ever since. 

  Victoria competed with a local dance studio for ten plus years. She eventually went on to be a member of the Columbine Poms team for two years. After high school she then danced for Dream Project Dance Company. She is an instructor at Spark Dance Team Training and loves to share her passion of dance. 

  Victoria is currently a student and is studying Early Childhood Education. 

   Her goal as a coach is to always push the athletes to be the best version of themselves and help them achieve goals they never thought were possible. She has found a love for coaching at Castle View High School and is blessed to be apart of the Sabercat family.

COACH MEGAN HARTRICH

Frosh/ C-Team

Megan was born and raised in Littleton, Colorado where she attended Heritage High School and dance on the Varsity Liberty Belles Dance Team for three years. She has been trained and danced competitively in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, and pom over the past 26 years. She is very passionate about dance and had her first job at the dance studio she was trained in. 


After high school, Megan went to Friends University in Kansas and cheered/danced on their spirit squad for four years. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Secondary History and Government Education with a minor in Political Science. Once back in Colorado, Megan received a Master's degree in Learning/Education with a specialization in English Language Learning from CSU Global. She also coached the Littleton High School Lionettes Dance Team for two years. 

Currently, Megan is working as a middle school teacher. She is one of the biggest Colorado Avalanche fans and has been going to games since she was three. Megan is passionate about dance and can't wait to bring her passion to the team/program.

COACH MARGARET FOY

Program Game Day Assistant Coach

Margaret is a Colorado Springs native and a graduate of Air Academy High School. She trained at various studios in Colorado Springs, before joining Nevada Ballet Theatre. She graduated from Duke University, and joined Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines for three wonderful contracts. She then performed with the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders for five seasons and was a Captain for her last two seasons. She began her coaching career with The Cleveland Cavaliers, but jumped at the chance to be back in Colorado coaching the Denver Outlaws Dancers so she and her husband could begin having their family. She has one little boy who is almost four and can’t wait to work with the Castle Views teams under Alexis!
